Have been neglecting my blog lately; there's been quite a bit of stuff going on, and I'm too busy to make a real update at the moment. Also not going to make any empty promises on writing all about it any time soon, so I guess we'll just have to see!
Posted this out of guilt :P

While My Guitar Gently Weeps
I can't believe school's started already, I couldn't get enough of spring break... although I didn't do too much anyway. I need my sleep...
I got my L (finally) last Wednesday, and it was a lot easier than I expected. I guess I got scared by all the stories I've heard on how tough it was, but at least it prepared me good and I didn't have to go again (or again, and again, hehe Jon) and waste 15 bucks each time. Thanks guys =] So yeah, I also went and drove around a parking lot a few times, and honestly driving is so much harder than I expected. The gas pedal and brake pedal are both so sensitive. Hopefully I'll be able to get someone to teach me =]
Also went to first sleepover with Corinne at her sister's apartment downtown. We spent most of the time killing ourselves in Little Big Planet on her PS3. And shopping - I bought a plain white v-neck - and swimming in the pool. Heheh, ROBBIE <3 I miss Milo.
Sick of school, and it's only the second day back. I have a huge chemistry booklet due tomorrow, and I really don't understand it so hopefully I'll get some help from my fellow mentors in tutorial... Socials project that was due yesterday that I totally forgot about but hopefully I can still get full marks for it since my teacher is great =] I really should sleep earlier also, I'm having so much trouble staying awake in my morning classes it's ridonkulous.

1 Thing 2 Do 3 Words 4 You
Snowboarding yesterday! It was so much fun, now that I can actually turn and go on harder runs and not get scared about wiping out and killing myself! Actually not really, I still get scared. This time we went up not one but 2 gondolas! And we also went to Whistler mountain instead of staying on Blackcomb all day. As for results, I now have a very sore neck and 2 bruised up knees. But it was all worth it =] I want to go again before season ends.
Went to Lougheed with Mommy today. Finally got the pointy toe flats that I've wanted for such a long time. I'm so happy =]

Yay!
Next I'm looking for a pair of Vans Authentics, forget the Chuck Taylors.
I must study for my socials (1st block) and chem (2nd block) tests tomorrow. On the bright side, at least I have block G free tomorrow. No mentorship! =]

A Little Too Not Over You
Long time no post, hehe. Nothing new lately... I've been quite busy with volleyball. Thi decided our whole team had too much "attitude" and we weren't being serious enough, and also we came 13th/24 so he's planning on having 3 practices a week.. Not to mention the weekend tournaments. So yeah, pretty much my life for the next few months.
Why are you so difficult to read? I don't know what you're trying to tell me, IF you're trying to tell me anything at all... What do you get out of "helping" me, anyways? How do I answer your questions when I don't want to give anything away?
I love it when it's sunny outside =]

One Man Wrecking Machine
I must say, I had a pretty good weekend. On Saturday I had the volleyball playday (can't really call it a tournament since there were only 3 other teams besides mine that were there) at McNair in Richmond. It went pretty good for a first tourney I suppose, but there are tons of things that I have to work on... passing, for example. My main problem. I was pretty decent at it last club and school season, but somehow I don't seem to be really too great at it anymore... Maybe it's just my team. Everyone on Apex is crazy at passing and digging. Which makes sense, since Apex is the one of the shortest teams out there and we're all Asian. And plus I play power, and passing/digging is our main job. Screw my goofy approach, I need to work on passing or I won't get any playing time :( I should start trying harder at practice. I should also try going to ALL the practices... but this Wednesday the fashion show is at the exact same time as practice is. Blah. Maybe I'll go since we have a Super Series on the 14th and that's pretty important... but then there's the Friday practice. So I'll be good. I think.
Sunday was the snow club trip! It was so much fun, I finally learned how to do S-turns. Okay so the day started out like this. Arrived at Whistler at about 8 in the morning, and me and Anthony decided to try out Beginners since we were both afraid we forgot everything. The instructor (an Asian Australian named Lincoln) took us on the tiny tiny slope that's not even the bunny hill and we reviewed on heel edge (I fell a few times doing that), and once we all got the hang of it we went down the bunny hill. Then we learned toe edge on the tiny slope. I was horrible at this - I fell backwards down the hill and pulled a muscle in my neck. It still hurts :( But then we got the hang of that too, and after lunch we learned how to carve and did a few runs down the bunny hill :) So yeah I'm really happy and excited to go again because now I can actually say I can snowboard! Hehe. Only 19 days away till the next trip!
Anyways. Today was a pretty good day. Did a new section in chem, had a socials test on 3 chapters that I didn't exactly study for since I forgot my textbook at school... but I found it pretty easy anyway. Then french crossgrades after lunch that I didn't prepare for either, but I got lucky and didn't get picked so I'm going on Wednesday. Mentorship was boring as always, so boring in fact that me and Simone decided to try and remember our class schedules of grade 8, 9, and 10. It was hard but we did it :P
Weeee a super long post!

Hello Beautiful
Gah. Here's a run-down of my plans this weekend: Friday, volleyball practice. Saturday, an all-day tournament in Richmond. Sunday, the Whistler snowboarding trip. And practice again on Monday. You know what this means: no sleeping in! Hopefully I'll make it out alive...
Anyways. So I've been having a pretty good week so far, quite a pleasant contrast to the past few weeks or so. Maybe you're right Emily, it's not the things that are happening around me, but my mind set. Or maybe because I found out I'm doing a lot better in a lot of my classes than I was last term. Either way.
I really should be working on my chart on Jacobean Poetry but somehow I find myself making a post...
**Look at it this way, sweetie: karma's a bitch - what goes around comes around

Do You Remember
Long weekend (again)! So we had the math midterm on Thursday. I think that went pretty well for me, the exam wasn't as difficult as I thought it would be... and I skipped practice the night before to study too. Also, knowing myself - no matter how easy the midterm was - I definitely made tons of minor mistakes that will result in lots of half marks taken off. At least I wasn't completely stumped :)
Went to Metro with Corinne yesterday and tried on dresses at BCBG. I found this eggshell white bubble dress with a black cinch around the waist, and I thought it was really cute and it looked pretty good on me, but it was strapless and those don't really work so well for me...hahaha. I'd be tugging it up all night. Also it's $360. Then after that me and Corny met up with Anthony and Bowen and just walked around and did nothing really, since we were all planning to go downtown but with the tight schedule and shitty weather decided against it.
Had volleyball after, and I am proud to say I am starting to sort of get the hang of NOT being goofy footed! Yay Jen! Although now Kent and Will keep bothering me about my arm swing. Which I really do need to work on anyway. But one thing at a time, sheesh. It's already hard enough to switch from right-left-right to left-right-left... but I suppose the sooner I start working on adjusting my steps and my arm swing the easier it'd be for me.
Today Corinne came over and we spent the whole day chilling and watching shit on Youtube - ah, Youtube - and America's Best Dance Crew on TV. Heheh, I'm glad someone appreciates my boringness.
Mmm well. I find that I never really have anything to say unless I'm whining about something or the other.
