Calm After The Storm

Went shopping downtown again, with Anthony this time. It was a lot less busy today than it was on Boxing Day, but still brimming with eager shoppers. Our first stop: Dutil. This hidden little denim boutique had sales up to 79% off (original prices around $200-300) for brands such as APC, Cheap Monday, Fidelity, Hudson, J. Brand, Naked & Famous, Nudies, Rock and Republic, and more. It's on West Cordova Street in Gastown, Vancouver.

Then we headed to Social Custom Butcher Shop for sandwiches + chips! Also quite hidden, on Water Street in Gastown. Yum.

I found this terrific dark purple BDG gym hoodie at Urban Outfitters for Anthony (that's not him):

And as for myself... I found this on the top floor of Urban Outfitters in the $19.99 sale corner:

On our way to Urban Outfitters we found a lovely street performer bouncing around on Granville and Robson who came all the way from Finland. I forgot what his name was but he had a funny accent. It was not so much funny as it was Finnish, but he did say funny things. His show consisted of juggling "not four, not five, not even seven but SIX balls" at a time, doing ten pushups on his thumbs, and his big finale, doing a sideflip over a metal chain and some poor guy lying on the mat in the picture below. Here he is:

Some random photos I took strolling along Howe Street...

-On a side note... I wouldn't be sitting at home posting this blog right now if the roof didn't collapse at Harry Jerome. I really need to play.
