Bret, You've Got It Going On

Report cards today. Didn't do so hot, parents aren't too pleased... but I'll make up for it in Grade 12, promise! (that's what I say every year, but really next year I'll try harder!) (yeah right, with all those science courses I'll definitely do SO much better...). Corinne came over afterwards and we watched Mamma Mia (so cheesy. Not so great of a movie) and then streamed Flight of the Conchords on the internet. LOVE them. Then we went to Keith's house... Twister was fun :) Pizza = tres yummy. Everything else... not so much. Kinda glad me and Corinne left early from what I heard happened afterward.

Volleyball was cancelled yesterday due to the rain that turned into sunshine, but I had fun nonetheless ;) Though definitely looking forward to Monday so I get to play again. Steph, we really gotta step up our game this week!

Plans this week:
Tomorrow -- working at Big Bang 12-8
Saturday -- Grad Council Carwash 10-3, Gary/Kathleen's wedding 5:30
Sunday -- moving into Corinne's sister apartment
Monday -- still with Corinne, volleyball with Steph 6-9
Tuesday -- hanging with Corinne still?
Wednesday -- volleyball with Will 6-9
Thursday -- first day of summer school, noooo :'(

Busy busy busy...

Two Way Monologue

Went downtown with Bowen today and finally got the gladiator sandals I wanted, yay! But I feel like I didn't spend enough money... should have gotten that evergreen v-neck from American Apparel, too. And that purse from H&M. We wasted too much time at Dutil. And even more time trying to find it. Huge sale, but kind of a disappointment... It's summer, who wants to wear raws in 35 degrees?

So glad school is finally done. My socials provincial went alright yesterday - I struggled a little with the government and law questions, but hopefully I made up for it with the essay section. Then went to Metro with Abby and Natasha.

Work tomorrow... I hate Playland I hate Playland I hate Playland. I hate Jumpshot.

My Hands Are Shaking

Happy belated birthday Daddy! <3

Yesterday I wrote my chemistry exam, which was surprisingly a lot easier than I thought it would be! It was just really really long... I don't think 2 hours was enough to really do spectacular on it, but thank God that's over. Socials on Friday, and I still haven't started studying for that.... goodness.

After my exam yesterday, I came home and played guitar till like.. 5ish, then Corinne came over and we watched the BEST. MOVIE. EVER. Across the Universe. Oh my God. I love the Beatles so much more than I already do after watching this. Definitely kicks Dirty Dancing 1982 off the top of my list. Especially because it's a musical too. (Cheesy, I know, but I love them) (you know you do too)

It was also my dad's birthday, and we had cake and some of my relatives came over and brought Buddy, their half-Pomeranian half-Something Else puppy which me and Corny played with. He had so much damn fur I wanted to give him a trim.

I had a pretty eventful day today compared to the rest of my week. DROVE to school to find Mrs. McChesney (no such luck), DROVE to Lougheed to find a pair of nice gladiator sandals (no such luck... although I did get a summer dress from AE for 20 bucks!), then DROVE home. I feel very accomplished.

Grass volleyball at Tupper afterwards. Didn't play so great today, but we didn't finish up with horrible results =] Lost our first game (which we shouldn't have... but it's okay since we were just warming up, right Will?) but then we carried on to beat the second 2 teams. Although we didn't win by as much as we should have. Oh well, blame it on the wind. I really hate playing when it's so hot and bright and sunny out... I can't see (no sunglasses because they fall off my face) and I get a huge headache and really tired really quick. I feel like I play better game in indoor, even though the grass net is super droopy. I should be killing the ball, but the wind really screws me up and my timing is kinda messy sometimes. Kristen, you own. Show me how?

Getting late and I'm pretty tired.
Peace out.

8 Days A Week

French over and done with. Forever. The exam was a lot easier than I thought it'd be, but there were a few questions that had me stumped. Why did we get so much passe compose vs. imparfait review sheets when that section of the final was only worth like 6 marks?

Chemistry tomorrow..... oh my God.
100 multiple choice........ oh my God.
20% of 3rd term............. oh my God.

I should get back to studying now.
